UNIHEAT held its third project Workshop Imperial College in London, on the 8th and 9th April 2013.
The meeting was especially important for the different sub-project members to discuss joint collaboration work with other sub-projects. Each of the partner institutions updated the rest of the team on their current activities and all had very successful discussions for the on-going and future project activities.
Theme meetings were arranged for joint collaboration, which included discussions on the project plans, researchers exchange visits both from Russia to the UK and viceversa, testing material requirements, feasibility study and data requirements, technology transfer pathways and target companies.
Tours around Imperial’s facilities were arranged for those who had not previously visited them. These included the High Pressure Oil Rig facilities, the laboratory for Advanced fluid and flow diagnostics, the Laboratory for oil and deposit chemical characterization via advanced imaging and the Laboratory for Heavy oil upgrade and deposit analytics.
