Imperial's team travelled to Russia from the 16th to the 21st of September 2012 in order to attend the first UNIHEAT project Workshop, which was held at Boreskov Institute of Catalysis, Novosibirsk, Russia.
Technical overviews for each sub-project were presented and other topics discussed were the project’s organization and management and plans for research activities, industry engagement activities and future workshops and visits.
Taking the opportunity of this trip to Russia, the Imperial team also visited several oil and gas companies in Moscow, as part of the project’s Industry Engagement Programme (IEP). The project’s IEP has been set up to make the outcomes of the project relevant and transferable to industry. It is managed by Imperial College and its goals are to actively ensure that the research team work closely with experts from leading oil companies and to create a forum for generating awareness, discussions and mutual understanding.
